“Providing honest, safe, and satisfactory management to all my clients within a framework of clinical excellence and experience.”

After graduating and obtaining my specialist status in Egypt, I moved to the UK in 2001 to get higher qualifications and better opportunities. I worked most of my career in the UK at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital which is a large tertiary unit in the East of England. During my training, I obtained a membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists- London (MRCOG) and completed my colposcopy accreditation and special skills modules in emergency gynecology and in maternal medicine.

I moved to New Zealand in 2012, where I worked as a full-time Consultant O&G at Palmerston North Hospital, which is a large secondary care unit, with a large mix of public and private patients. In 2013, I was honored by the award of the Fellowship of The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). In 2016, I was elevated to the Fellowship of the RCOG (FRCOG) which is not merely a reflection of the time interval since passing the Membership exam, but it also implies continued contribution to the specialty and maintenance of standards and practice. I am a BSCCP and CQUIP accredited colposcopist.

I am excited about the opportunity to move to beautiful Australia to join Warrnambool O&G and South West Hospital as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist.

I am a generalist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. I am particularly interested in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic organ prolapse, vulval and vaginal disorders, and colposcopy examination and treatment, as well as other benign gynecological conditions.

I perform Laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies as well as vaginal wall repair surgeries. I perform most diagnostic and operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy procedures, including removal of ovarian cysts, excision of endometriosis and dissection of adhesions, sterilization, and a variety of other benign conditions.
